Harm Reduction
What is the Trans Syringe Exchange Program?
The Trans Syringe Exchange Program (TSEP) is a free and confidential program that provides transgender people access to needles, syringes, and safe injection supplies. When the need for HIV and Hepatitis C testing for transgender people is high, we have partnered with Health Brigade to offer free syringes and other important supplies to the Hampton Roads transgender community!
The Trans Syringe Exchange Program aims to provide harm reduction services to trans* individuals who are at-risk of stopping their hormones, inconsistently taking their hormones, or acquiring an infection or HIV due to reusing needles.
